OQO editora has participated as the this year in La Mostra degli Illustratori at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair 2010, one of the most important for children’s books celebrated in this Italian city, from 23rd to 26th, March.
La Mostra degli Illustratori from 1967 offers an international panorama of the most innovative tendencies in illustrations for children. Influential personalities in edition, art, design and illustrations for children, directors from prestigious art schools and the most important museums in the world are invited each year to take part in the panel of judges that select the works to be exhibited in La Mostra degli Illustratori .
The 2010 panel of judges is comprised of:

In the 2010 edition, the panel of judges were assembled from 18th to 20th, January in Bologna to get to know the works of more than 3,000 artists, finally choosing a total of 87 illustrators from all over the world (Spain, Italy, Japan, France, Switzerland, Israel, Germany, Hungry, Russia, Taiwan, United Kingdom, Denmark, Rumania…).
La Mostra degli Illustratori is a showcase of great relevance for consecrated and emerging artists, given that it supposes a unique opportunity to show their work to prestigious international professionals that are present each year in Bologna.
On the thirtieth anniversary of Gianni Rodari’s death, the Bologna Children’s Book Fair organizes a great exhibition of illustrations dedicated to this important Italian author. More than 800 illustrations were presented to take part in the homage, of which, the panel of judges of La Mostra degli Illustratori selected 33, that shall participate in the Grammatica della Figure contest. This shall be exhibited in Sala Farnese in the Palazzo D’Accursio fair.
